​​We promote physical, social and mental well-being
The BASC is your home away from home, and we invite you to get involved to keep the BASC humming and serving the needs of the aging population. We invite all ages to get involved. We have high school students who help our patrons with technology questions and elders up to 100 years old who attend our exercise classes. There’s a place for you at the BASC!
If you prefer to donate funds to help the BASC achieve our mission of promoting physical, social and mental well-being, we have listed those options below, as well.
Volunteer at the BASC
The BASC welcomes you to share your gifts and talents with our seniors through various volunteer opportunities. We offer many volunteer options to meet your area of interest, ability level, and schedule so you tell us what will work best for you. You can choose to volunteer on occasion, or on a regular basis. Below are some ideas of how you can help:

Ways to Give
Tax-Deductible
Contributions to our non-profit 501(c)3 corporation are tax deductible. There are many ways to donate and assist us in providing services to our seniors.
Building Fund Donations
Contributions to our building fund for maintenance and improvements.
Memorial Donations
A memorial gift in honor of loved ones who have passed. Contact the BASC for more information on ways to honor your loved one.
Program/General Fund Donations
Donations toward your favorite programs or toward the General Fund to help us enhance our programs.
Annual Appeal
Contributions to the Annual Appeal help us to expand and grow our senior center as our attendance and programs continue to grow.
In-kind Donations
if you have something that you think may help the BASC serve our mission, give us a call to discuss. For example, we have a loan closet of items, many that have been donated, that help our elders with physical challenges and so forth, such as shower chairs, wheel chairs, canes, etc.
